FAQs

What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent or infinity jewelry is created using a small welder to connect two ends of a chain together. This creates an "infinite" piece of jewelry with no beginning and no end. Since there's no clasp attached, it can only be removed by cutting or breaking the chain.

What type of material are the chains?

We currently offer two types of chain material:

Gold Fill - an economical but long-lasting choice for yellow gold, our gold fill chain will stay golden for 5-10 years and then slowly fade. Gold fill material is waterproof, tarnish-resistant, and will not turn skin green.

Sterling Silver - for our silver lovers out there, our sterling silver chain is for you! Like all sterling silver, it will take on a darkened patina over time without polishing, but it's still waterproof and will not turn skin green.

What's your repair policy?

All sales are final, though we do offer one free reattachment if your welded link breaks. Subsequent reattachments will be $20 each. Lost or broken chains (not welded links) must be replaced at full price.

Conditions apply: the chain must be in original condition (not stretched or broken beyond the welded link). Repair clients can visit the next pop-up or public event with their original chain to have it repaired. At this time, we're not able to offer on-demand repairs outside of scheduled permanent jewelry events.

Can my jewelry get wet?

Yes! Our chains are fine to submerge in water and come into contact with things like lotions and sunscreens. If you hop in the pool or ocean be sure to give your jewelry a good rinse in soapy water afterwards.

Can I wear my permanent jewelry through airport security?

Yes! TSA allows you to leave on all jewelry.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! Purchase a "stack" of 3+ jewelry pieces for yourself and receive a 15% discount. Cannot be combined with jewelry purchases for other individuals.

Does "getting fuzed" hurt?

Nope! The welder we use is painless and heat free. The welder will never touch your skin. In the off chance that it does, nothing happens to your skin because the welder is designed to only work on metal. You'll see a quick flash of light and then you're fuzed!

How long will my jewelry last?

Years! It depends on the chain you chose and your lifestyle, but our jewelry can last a lifetime.
